i'm sure he'll rock it but only because he had a really stellar second half of the year last year. i was at last years show for wmc and he didnt impress me too much (thank god i was there for sander). anyway, i heard about 1.5 or 2 hours of his set last time around and the first hour he rocked it, but then went and started playing his softer . basically he pulled a 'august' in the middle of a 'november' set. (that'll only make sense to some people, so if you dont get it, dont worry about it).
i'd like to see him this year, considering i've been there 3 years running, but i dunno. its so ing expensive. :( |

I hear ya man. Quite frankly, I would pick the "softer" as you put it over the monotonous garbage which he "played" at Spirits. No one in TA has ever seen me mad until that night. So yeah, I would welcome Crush and TOOL and NBY over that "noise" from Spirits anyday. Still, like I said, it's Conference and he can't afford to play a half-assed timmeh sounding set like Spirits. He has too much to lose. Space and Spirits are so totally different. This time, for a solid 6 hours, it won't be a set. The price IS extremely high, I will agree with you there, but in Miami, how often does he play for SIX hours? I think it's worth it to me, all the way, and I'll gladly buy my ticket Thursday. Since I got a busy day right after Edgar closes that night, you won't be seeing a review thread from me until Monday night or something, but, good night or bad, 3/24 @ Space with PVD & Edgar will get its review.

Your so right, I hope money would not be an issue for me, I know you are a PvD whore, and I definetly understand your side Raul. Trust me, I would love to catch PvD for 6 hrs, but Im no whore so it hurts the 60 bucks heh. |

| I have to agree with DA on this one. There is absolutely no way this night will not be memorable...I plan on getting there early, finding a section right in the front middle of the floor and just enjoy myself. There is wayyyyyyyyy too much riding on this. Plus edgar for 2 more hours can't get better. The only thing that has me mad is that he is playing in Venezuela the night before. I've noticed when he has a gig the night before he seems tired. Since I don't remember Spirits at all I can't really compare it but November was the best for me. |
