Well, Numark has the only USB mixers I know about, they act as your soundcard. They're battle/DJ mixers, meaning they have only 2 stereo channel outputs and are designed for DJ'ing (you can not use it to input audio into you computer).
If you are looking for a mixer for production I'd advise against getting a DJ mixer (like the Behringer DJX 700), and get a regular one.
I don't know much about usb mixers, but if they exist they probably cost a crapload of cash. I suggest getting a decent 2 or 4 analog in soundcard (check out M-Audio) and a good mixer with 2 submix outputs (giving you 2 seperate stereo outputs to route your audio to)... that is if you get 4 channel card, if not just get a regular 1 stereo output mixer. Check out the Behringer Eurorack UB line.
Edit:
Oh and btw. If you get a soundcard with multiple inputs, they all have built in virtual mixers, meaning you can blend the signals in your computer to your will (without needing a hardware mixer). |

you can't use a regular dj mixer for controlling any application.. |

yes you can. What you're looking for is either a card with 2 seperate outputs so you can put those into the 2 channel mixer.
Or you'll need a package such as stanton final scratch. |

true. In which case you are not controlling the software, but the software outputs 2 different audio tracks at the same time (i.e. representing 2 turntables/cd's or whatev).
Idially, you need a soundcard that has 2 x 2 out (double stereo), and has very low latency (so pitch alteration is immediately audible) |
