Hey folks,
I've been conspicuously absent for the past while but have been hard at work in Northern Alberta up in the oil sands. Finally have my own computer here so I can post a bit. Hope everyone is well and having fun :)

Actually, I've been to Vancouver twice since I moved here, quite a nice place. The lack of snow and warmer temperatures overshadow the rain in my opinion... |

My dad heads up a fab shop that builds huge conveyor belts in Edmonton that get broken down and reassembled up there.
What exactly are you doin' up there? |

Heh oh man, my buddy worked for Syncrude for a year up there and he said that the money was insane but he'd never do it again for any amount.
Apparently half the guys up there piss away their money on coke and hookers. |

I'm just up the highway from Syncrude. I'm working 21 days on, 7 days off, which is actually pretty cool if you can handle 12 hour days for that stretch...

Thanks... I had planned to go to Banff after Expired moved there but he ended up moving here to this new project so I followed suit. Was without Internet for a while but have that sorted out now.
Thinking of visiting March 2nd to 8th, anything interesting happening then? |

Heya! Yeah, I am just reading that now. Doing the numbers in my head to see if I can make it from Edmonton to Toronto to Detroit in time :p
