it makes sense once you hear him lately when i saw him live at lush he was the same as the sets i listind to
none the less hes still a ledgend and one of the greatest dj/producers of all time hes just doing an alex ferguson and staying when he should of went years ago :D

He his djing was unique, and of his own. Most of his production I wan't hugely fond of. Your right it is time for him to hang it up. When you see pictures of him these days. He has this look on his facee that makes you wonder if anyone is still there,

dont get me wrong im a huge man utd fan but he should of went after he won the treble he would of been an untouchable ledgend but now he will always be remembered for the screw up of the last couple of seasons and taking sides with the glazers:)

He's always been a technically DJ though. He just doesn't have big tunes to hide that behind anymore because trance isn't what it used to be.

its strange you say trance isnt what it used to be in my opinion its beter than it ever has been, take armin van buuren his tracklist is unreal and hes even beter live with tight mixing and big tunes then there is eddie halliwell hard trance master you dont need to say anything else about him:gsmile:

trance is always going to cycle with those who like it. Every few years people will say "damn trance has really gone ." Fact is most people don't listen to trance for more than a few years. I'm going on 5-6 years. I have my peroids were I just don't listen to that much trance. But I could say that about most types of music.

You come across as someone who has been into EDM for about 5 minutes. And anyone that is of the opinion that Armin van Buuren has an 'unreal' tracklist and tight mixing is clearly a bit of an idiot. The only thing 'unreal' about his playlist is how it is. And his mixing is about as boring and simplistic as you could ever possibly get, with the same easy and safe transition used every single annoying time. Then again, you have 'tiesto' listed as your favourite DJ/Producer, which says it all really.
