| what i heard was on a tv documentry exploring the muslim community and the preacher in that said that non muslim cultures food, attire, and music where frowned upon and in most cases not allowed but come to think of it the guy was wel known for his extremest views :) |

Obviously there will be loads of DJs who are muslims. Of course there will be groups of fundementalists that proclaim all modern music is of the devil but hey, haven't we heard that from a lot of christian people over the years as well?
Aly & Fila (Egypt) are probably muslim to some extent and they have made some very nice tunes :) |
