Did anyone else catch him at any of of the places he played this past weekend. HOLY Crap. Caught his set at Gallary on Saturday night and was completely blown away by his energy. Good stuff!
Thanks to the D-Town peeps for the shirt and good times ;)

he dropped a pretty sweet set at footwork on friday. I wasnt a huge fan of the electro he played at the end of the set, but the tribal he was playing at the beginning was awesome. Big thanks go out to him for hookin us all up with cds :)
Even though it was the beginning of the night, and the place was still fairly empty, he was showing some crazy energy behind the decks, jumping around and absolutely loving it. |

caught him at my usual friday night spot
that guy has a little too much energy. i was afraid he would hit the tables by accident and something up.
good dj. good track selection. just a little too hard for someone that is playing an opening set. |

He gave me a CD 3 or 4 weeks ago at the gallery and I must say not only does it have a nice design on the CD (red/black swirls) but the mix is great as well.
^5 Anthony! |

WoW, what a return to hedonism this weekend was for me.
Wrote my Macroeconomics exam from 1-3, then hopped into the car and drove through a timely storm to get into town just intime for rush-hour.
Started with pre-drinks @ a friends on Friday, and managed to drag one of them out to Footwork with me. I promised a big night of music, women, and friends and hell, Footwork did not disappoint.
The decor is minimal, but the music/people were not. A really nice mesh of kids from the scene, and a really good vibe all around.
Now, I've never been a fan of the "opening dj" archetype of warming up the floor. If you aren't ready to lose your within 10 minutes of getting in the door, or after your first drink, then you need.. no deserve an ass-kicking like Attalla laid down to open up. I couldn't have chosen a better set to get back into my old stomping shoes on the dance floor to. (although I turned my ankle due to a wayward waterbottle, meh)
It was great to see a few old faces like Cuzo out and about, and to meet a ton of new ones both local (joinT) and from a far (the Detroit fanclub).
The followup at Gallery was even better. Not only did Anthony destroy the place, but I ran into so many old faces (haha we're all getting old) it felt like System circa 2004 for me.
All in all the music was choice, the people amazing, and I was so beat-up I actually never made it to the zone (shocking I know). Felt good to be home again. :D |

He's reworking a lot I think to add recent content, so it's a little bare right now.

I know, but if you go to where you want content, like mixes, there isn't any.
I'm sure he has more pics than the 1 gallery that is linked. |
