Valentines day is a load of hogwash. Girls thesedays are so fickle. If you dont do something pointless (and expensive) for Valentines day, they'll go and find someone who WILL do something pointless (and expensive) for Valentines day. You cant ing win.

I find valentine's day pretty unconvincing - but its got nothing to do with commercialisation (though that is a little annoying).
Romance is all about spontaneity, thoughtfulness, and surprise. Having a day in the year when people HAVE to be romantic completely negates the romance. There's nothing romantic about being forced to make a gesture. |

I'm a server when I'm not shooting (photography)... all you suckers that have to take your girlfriends out to expensive dinners... you tip ME.
