Sleeping problem...

On sober nights I stay up untill around 4 or 5 am. Usually this happens about 5-6 nights a week. I dun really know what to do to break the pattern. Maybe if I get really drunk during the day, I could fall asleep early and break the pattern. I think it's impartially due to staying out late on the weekends and partying. The other night I got home @ about 1030am from Crobar, which definitely isn't helping this problem. Anyone have any suggestions aside from not staying out so late?
Oh and the issue that I'm only smoking pot about once a week, and used to smoke about 4-5 times a day for about 4 years might have to do with it.:confused: |

regardless, when im completely sober its harder for me to get to sleep cuz im thinking about way too many things. While fuked up im just thinking "ohhhhhhhh tttttttttt.......:crazy: "
so you see, you just need something to distract yourself.
maybe sleep with soft music on...
that's what i do to lullaby myself into slumber.
anywayz- while yer up, might as well look up porno.

| I guess now is as good of a time as any to try and go to sleep, considering that theres about a half hour until the sun comes up.:eyespop: Now I know why they tell people to stay away from drugs. Cause you are up until 6 in the in morning when you are trying to stop doing them.:mad: |

| i have teh same problem but chose the easy way out lolz. just take sleeping pills or pills to wake you up. either will do :D (both at the same time maybe not tho) |

sleeping pills are bad in the long run, you get ty sleep, and it funks with your system.
the easy cure, stay up all night and day. You'll be very tired around 9 or 10 or 11 at night, then youll go to sleep and be right back on. What I do is stay out late, sleep for about 3 hours or so, then stay up the rest of the day.
so yea, staying up longer will kinda reset your sleep cycle. |

i had this problem awhile ago.
i would drink 5/6 days a week and the sober night i could never fall asleep.
(small sign of dependency)
anyway i got a job so i cut back on the drinking.
i found myself not able to sleep.
but i found the key.
the cure is waking up early.
wake up at 8 in the morning for two days in a row.
maybe 3 if your deep into it.
once ur body gets used to waking up early it will be ready to rest unassisted.
it worked for me.

| I wake up every day around 11 AM and go to bed around 4 PM. It takes me mostly 3 hours before I effectively fall asleep, so I smoke some spliffs, but that doesn't help. So I drink some wine...I'm a nighthawk, daytime is boring, nighttime is delicious :cool: |
