I bought my first record from him at his record store, when I moved to Phoenix. He's really a great guy.

He plays the exact same on his show as he does live , average mixing and just nothing exciting.

Pretty much like the rest of those Armada DJs

When I saw him he played basically none of the GDJB tracks he usually plays. It was a totally diff. experience.

Used to enjoy him significantly more than I do now, but every once in a while a live set still crosses my path that I really dig... The Riverside Hall set from Vancouver in July I really enjoyed, but the GDJB has really not been my cup of tea over the last 6 months to a year, just a change in taste perhaps...

Well then perhaps it was that I hadn't listened to GDJB in about 6 months and was really in the mood for some McProg at the time... Whatever it was, when I was listening to that set, I was digging it.

I tune into the GDJB every week and have seen Markus live ohhh about 20 times now:crazy:

What can I say I am addicted! I love Markus sound and energy behind the decks. Once on the stage he takes control tears the palce up even if he has to follow Dj's like Bad Boy Bill or Jules.. You can tell that he loves doing what he is doing and feeds off the energy from the crowd.

Every set I have heard live has been diffent from the ones before and they are diffent then the GDJB. (The GDJB does help me id some tracks)

The Remixes, Productions and Mash-ups Markus has put out recently have been amazing!!! (imo)
Not only that Markus is one of the Nicest down-to-earth people!

Markus really condenses everything that's wrong with trance.

Right and your "Recently played" avatar has Tiesto at the top of the list. We will take your opinion with a grain of salt.

You don't have to believe it, but I was actually playing it for my mom.

That's not to say Schultz isn't way worse than Tiesto.

He was a real borefest in Helsinki last year too. He even played the godawful vocal version of Taurus - as if the instrumental wasn't bad enough...

I exchanged a few words with him after the gig, he's a nice guy and all but the music he plays... oh dear :nervous:

are u srsly saying you dont like Taurus?
imo, its one of the best dancefloor tunes ever.
