BT - Mercury & Solace

Time for a story. A long long time ago, when I was a lot younger and a lot wiser, I decided to go shopping. I returned with a disc of the compact variety entitled Global Underground 013 - Sasha Ibiza. I put it on, and under two hours later I was listening to the song which was to become my favorite song of all time.
BT - Mercury & Solace (Quivver Remix)
Or so it says on the sleeve :D Ever since then I've been trying to find a full vinyl but to no avail. My question is, has this version ever been released? Does it even exist in the form that's on GU13? There's the Extended Quivver Rmx but it's not what I'm after All I can ever find on AG under Mercury & Solace (Quivver Remix) is the bloody rip from GU013. If I wasn't 56k it would be easier coz I could download them fast and get rid of them if no good but waiting 20 minutes a time only to find it's not what I'm after is getting annoying.
Can anybody help? All I want to know is if I'm wasting my time looking for it, and if not how long is the track so I can find it? Thanks :) |

I'm not exactly sure what mix it is, my friend has borrowed it, but it's definitely a quivver mix. Get in contact with me, and I could rip it for you.

Doh! I just checked it against GU013, it's not the same mix. :(

Thanks for the offer mate, but I think I've had them all at some time or other :) That's the problem, there seems to be a few Quivver mixes out but none seem to be the same as on GU013 which makes me wonder if the version on GU013 was a Sasha rework of a Quivver rmx or something and doesn't exist on vinyl. |

| Well, that could have been a promo version of the track Sasha had his hands on, ALOT of tracks on the Global Underground were promos. Maybe Quivver did a once over of the track again for a commercial release. I remember hearing him spin a very early version of Hybrid-Finished Symphony, that sounded nothing like the one that was released. |

Well if that's true then they made a big mistake because the other mixes don't even come close to this one in my opinion. |

Dude! The version on Sasha Ibiza is the original!! I'm sure it's not quivver mix. I have gu13 and it doesn't even say anything about the quivver mix. Try finding 'BT - Mercury & Solace (BT's 12" Mastermix)'. I could rip 'mercury & solace' from BT's MISL...I don't have a full rip but I'll try to find one. I'm on the tranceaddict AG group so maybe you want to work something out so I can give you it. I have full rips of quivver mix and transa mix too if ya want.:D

Mecury and Solace is one of the best tunes ever. You can get same beautiful feeling each and everytime you listen to it.

i Got the CD single, its in my car now, and i cant be stuffed getting it to have a look what mix's are on there, i know there is 6 tracks total, so when i get it ill let ya's know and rip if anyone wants..

Really? Coz on the inside sleave it says "There are three unreleased/acetate exclusives: Aquilla's `Dreamstate'....blah blah and the rollicking Quivver remix of BT's `Mercury & Solace'". I'll be plenty pissed if that's wrong!
If anybody does have this version, I'm in the AG group and would be completly in your debt for a copy. |

| dude, i'm with spad...i love that song (especially the version on GU13) and have wanted it for so long. so if anyone could hook it up it would be greatly appreciated....i'd even take other remixes of the song too. |

The one that Sasha spun back in the haaay-day was Hybrid's Symphony and not Finished Symphony. Finished Symphony is the reworked version of Symphony that Hybrid did later on.
Symphony appears in Norther Exposure
while Finished Symphony appears in various other compilations (namely Gatecrasher's Wet)
The only two mixes I know of BT's Mercury and Solace are the Quiver and Original (both of which are on the 12"). There's also a video edit, which is a shorter version of the Original.
