hoenstly WTF, i got fired today =(

is valentines day the day for people to get fired or bitched at by their boss or something? sheesh. i go to school full time and work part time. i walk into work today and i see a former employee working AND at my desk. i was like this cant be good. i go to talk to the boss and he says i need someone to work full time. give me a call when you are out of school and you can start working again but we need someone full time at this moment. i was like are you serious? you did not give me any notice or heads up so i can look for employment elsewhere. he starts trying to explain himself or what not and i just cut to the point and said will there be severence pay on my paycheck? i said i wanted 1 months pay and he said yea. im still pist off but whatevers. next friday i get a check for 800 bucks. ::sigh::

Dude you just got $800 for free kinda... Take some time find a new job and chill and have fun for a month with the extra cash... |

at least ur boss didnt cut all ties from you... at least its something you can still put down as a reference...

| You should try to collect unemployment. It wasn't your fault that you were fired. I have to say your ex employer might try to get out of paying you unemployment. Look at it this way.. Things happen for a reason. Good luck. |

I had a boyfriend last Valentine's Day. He didn't give me anything at all, didn't even bother making me a card. We were walking down the street and he saw someone's heart balloon that had run out of helium lying in the gutter... So, he picked it up and gave it to me.
