according to the big bang theory we are. :p
the Big Bang is the scientific theory that the Universe emerged from an enormously dense and hot state about 13.7 billion years ago.
The theory states that the universe existed as a singularity. There was nothing outside of the singularity. The singularity contains every bit of matter in the universe in theoreticaly no area. The singularity cannot contain all of this mass and the big bang occurs.
A nuclear bomb works by compressing a fissile material (enriched uranium or plutonium) to critical mass using explosives. Then a chain reaction begins releasing tremendous amounts of energy.
