Gretzky's Bar wants permission to serve beer at 8am

But the province is saying no. They want to be able to offer patrons the ability to have a beer while watching team canada go for gold at the olympics.
What the is wrong with our thinking that we have such liquor laws? Toronto calls itself a world class city yet it's supposed world class entertainment facilities cant even offer a champagne breakfast or offer a beer at a sporting event at 8 am? i can even have champagne breakfast IN BUFFALO for god sake!
We seriously need an overhaul of our very outdated liquor laws.

Just as i say 2am or 5 am, whats the difference?
The whole idea of "drinking hours" and "last call" needs to go the way of the dinosaur. We no longer need the government to force us into bed early so we can go to church the next day. |

| yeah, when i worked nights one summer i used to think about this sort of stuff. its time-ism! Why cant people who finish work at 7 or 8 am go have a drink. I agree with Jay! |

Time to make an appeal to the supreme court and let them decide if your right to get a drink at 8am is protected under the constitution! BWAHAHAHAH. I'd laugh if something like that got the same attention. |

they would probably side with the province as they did with smoking.
The majority dont have rights in this country. Just the special interests and the politically correct crowd. |
