digweed is god and king of electronic music. sometimes it makes me wonder why he lets sasha tag along with him (not saying that i don't like sasha, just that digweed's on a completely different level)
someone see to it that a proper bootleg recording is made of this event. or even a proper actual high-quality recording is made. I'd trade my left nut for that. |

Screen let me re-iterate on Armin, then on Sasha.
Armin:
Some people like Armin's style more than anybody else. I happen to be one of those deeply felt fans of his. I like his style period. No matter where he's at or how low or high he might be in the Top 100, he's still one of my favs.....not to mention a hero for taking 5 seconds to take a picture with me:crazy:
Sasha:
I believe what many people have said about Sasha, and that is, that he's the godfather of all "underground european" trance music. I have to give him kudos for GU:013 Ibiza. I mean who the hell wouldnt pick a track out of there to jam to 24/7. In my case, that would be the whole damn album itself, which still today, after so many years that album forst hit stands, I still jam to.
Sasha's change in style has kind of disowned him in some way though. Involver rocked (some songs). Fundacion NY wasn't really a good one for me. He's got some really weird changes in his music that kind of make me think of the old Lords of Acid. Just too insane and wild. His mixing won't ever change though. I've tried to copy Sasha's style just to get a feel of how he does it, and I can tell you right now that it is virtually impossible. That different style is what intrigues me the most... |
