3D Painted Rooms

Now this takes the concept of 3D to a whole new level--and it doesn't even involve computers. These are photos of rooms painted to create optical illusions that project 3D images if viewed from the proper angles. Very Cool

dude.....thats very inpressive. and very achievable.
I draw alot, and I think I could pull something similar off......mide you it would take alot of trial and error, and in the end it probably wouldn't have the full effect that this guiy has achived.
This guys got his stuff down pat.

The floating "X" and the blue pinstripe circles have the most illution.........I can't figure out what the is going on with the second one..

I think I'm gonna do that to my room now. hahaa

I thought it was real... but then I noticed that the circles goes over a monitor on the wall in the pic on the left.. weird. Not so sure anymore

maybe the artist went to the extreme of painting the monitor as well - it could be done

also, the monitor is not against that wall - it has not been cut off, it is on the wall further to the left.

nonot really..

if it was part of the design, it shouldve been included in the proper angle in the pic. but obviously the photochopper found it hard to show it in there

They're impressive, but you have to look at them from the perfect angle otherwise they look like . Some of them are at really weird angles to. A lot of work and effort nontheless.
