I was wicked excited to hit the road today and get a jump start on what should be a scrumtralescent weekend, only to find that overnight we got 6 inches of snow, it's continuing to snow balls, we have a warning for 6-12 more inches between now and midnight, and to top it off, the direction I was heading (that would be in Myra's direction ;)) is getting hammered even worse than I am up and down the entire stretch of highway I have to take to get there... At this point, it's looking like odds are I'm snowed in until tomorrow.

The worst part? I had planned on skipping class today and just getting down to Waukesha, but when Myra apprised me to the sketchy weather situation and I realized I was stuck in Point for the day, I thought to myself "Hey! At least I can entertain myself by going to class!"

Yeah, not so much... Snow and roads are so bad here that most Uni classes have been cancelled, something that NEVER happens. In my combined 3.5 years here at UWSP I don't think I've ever seen a day where basically all classes were cancelled, and it happened today.

RjT hates teh snow.

:(

Freezing fog is just basicially very cold fog. If you drive into a patch of freezing fog your windscreen clouds up almost instantly.

jack Bauer could fly a helicopter through a snowstorm with hurricane strength winds... And he'd never even think twice about it... :)

And on that note, I think I'm going to go and trade in my Xbox and most of the games I have for credit towards an Xbox 360... I need something to do.

And as for freezing fog — a fog where the droplets freeze upon contact with exposed objects and form a coating of rime and/or glaze. Think of instant water to ice on contact with anything. That is dangerous .
