I got an ARAI helmet which costs at an average of 350-450 bucks for $45.
U got owned dude. seriously. |

So you got a Signet, lower rung arai for 45? Probably used, because even the Distributor doesn't get them that cheap. Either that or you are sponsered racer in the AMA. Which if you were the latter of the two options, you would be using an RX7 Corsair which is the 759 dollar helmet, or the Quantum II which goes for 500+. Not a Signet.
Top of the line Suomy which ranks higher then arai in the Customer satisfaction and crash protection rankings for less then the dealerships get them for (580 dealer cost instead of 650). Yeah... Owned:rolleyes: |

of course it was used. Just change the interior for 40 bucks and its as good as new.
To tell u the truth, to pay more than 200 bucks for a helmet is just plain stupid. The safety aspects from wearing a 500 dollar helmet to a 100 dollars one is not worth it as it is really minimal. |

True in some ways, the 800 dollar Carbon Fiber Vemar helmet's chin piece shatters on impact. Costing the rider his/her jaw and many other things if s/he hits face first.
with the higher dollar helmets, you get a better fit and finish, as well as more technology then a lower dollar HJC or KBC would have. Snell approval is all you really need, but there is taht little bit more that makes it all worth it.
I had a HJC helmet, and then i went to an arai Quantum II and it was night and day putting on the HJC helmet again. You can tell the difference the higher quality helmet makes. |

get one of these instead. the artwork is a lot more fancy, and you'll have fun riding your bicycle to whatever place you're destined to go. |
