Audio CD help View this Thread in Original format samhouse Ok.... so i have this cd which won't work on my D:\ cdrom drive. Shouldn't it work like a regular audio cd. How come some cds I have will run regularly while some cds (no scratches, brand new condition) will not. I refuse to reformat over something as trivial as this so plz computer savvy people.....help a brother out ;) El Kay Dee is it a recorded cd?? how old is ur cd drive?? sometimes the laserhead goes bad... chinamon ive had that problem before. my mom gave me a stack of cds and picked out certain songs from each one and wanted me to put them all on one cd... i was able to rip them all except for one disc that wouldnt work at all. wouldnt work in my cd drive or dvd drive but it plays fine in a stereo. told her she was SOL for that disc. i still have no idea what caused that problem...
