I was 5 years old when this hit the top of the charts. My Dad had it on a tape compilation and I liked it so much he used to keep rewinding it and playing it over and over for me while I sat in front of the stereo. Looking back, that was without question the moment I started loving electronic music, and I still get a kick out of hearing it today.

Yes. Considering how many musical ideas, melodies and even lyrics they have stolen from other artists, they are truly the antichrist of the church of electronic music. To quote some youtube comment I've read once, "the worst sample-nicking nazi bastards ever." But it's hard for me to hate Scooter. First of all, their music eventually got me hooked on EDM. Second, I have to give them credit for not really taking themselves so seriously like so many pop acts and those who pretend to be soooo underground dj's and producers do. To me, it's just three guys having fun.

At the end you can hear "Ratty - Here I am" made by the Scooter guys. Really love that tune. Showed again what they were capable of. Unfortunately I don't like their work of the past years, but I have liked there work for many years, and they have been around for a while. Respect for that.
