Hey Trance Addicts,
Today, February 17, 2006, the Basic family marks another milestone: the 1-year anniversary of Basic Frequencies on Proton Radio. I’ll have to admit that I didn’t think at first there was going to be a lot of work involved in doing the show. However, going from doing one mix a year to having to do one a month did involve quite a bit more work. In spite of this, it’s been an absolutely amazing experience for me as an artist. The opportunity to share a new mix each month has pushed me to constantly seek out new music each month, more so than before, and has allowed me to experiment with various genres of music.
A big thank you to Sam, Jay and Patty at Proton Radio for giving us an avenue to share our music each month and for everything that they’re doing with Proton. Proton Radio, in just four years of existence, has grown to become Internet broadcasting's gold standard for underground dance music. With a steadfast dedication to provide listeners with the absolute highest quality programming and an emphasis on introducing new talent, Proton has cultivated an audience of thousands of daily listeners from locations around the globe with their 80+ original shows, broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
