Hello everyone,
I'm a 32 year old Canadian who wants to work in Scotland for 6 months to a year. There are sooooo many conflicting stories about what it takes to do this.ie work visa or work permit.
Does anyone have any advice on this subject?
Thanks in advance,

call the embassy and/or check their website.
Btw if you're having a hard time just dealing with a visa are you sure you're cut out for all the hassles involved in moving abroad for a job? :p |

You might want to bring a pair of Wellingtons though.
But definitely go for it. I for one would like to go there (well either there or to England or Ireland) myself as well. The only thing keeping me here is not being sure of finding a quality job. |

Not everyone is like that, you know.
EDIT: For me, it would be a permanent (or at least multiple years) step as well. |
