i can't seem to figure out to automate the pitch bend. it's in the key editor, right? i record a midi track with pitch bend, and i don't get any pitch bend data and i can't seem to find a way to edit it. can someone tell me where to look? i've rtfm.

if you recorded using pitch bend then it should be there...I think you should check your cubase preferences(file->preferences->midi) and see is the pitchbend is checkmarked...that means it will be ignored when recording midi.

If you want to see your pitchbend that you recorded(should be there already, but if not) then when you open up the key editor there is a small drop down menu on the left bottom corner which lets you choose what midi funtion you want to see and edit.

Hi,
if you go into the midi key editor for the track, you can change the pitch using a controller lane. If there isn't one, right click anywhere on the key editor, and click on the bottom pop-up menu entry called create controller lane. On the left of the controller lane, there is an arrow. Choose pitchbend. Now just paint away.
