First off, I love Sasha's work, and I love Digweed's work, and I really love Sasha and Digweed when they work together. I wanted to get that on the record before I continued. Now that I have, here's the reply:
Since there's no such thing as a Spring Break for me, and the 16th of March is, unfortunately, a WEEKDAY!!!!!!!:whip: :whip:. . .I'll have to decline. However, were I not working, and were it not going to cost $300 for a ticket, and were it not in the biggest pesthole city in the hemisphere, I would go to this. As it stands, this is yet another February-March rocking event that I will miss thanks to the timing. Have fun if you go, take pics, post a tracklist, score a video if you can, don't get gang-raped.
These guys need to do a set or two in Dallas or Austin, on or about July-August timeframe. That would make me a very, very happy fiend, and I could use the morale boost after six weeks in the Mojave desert in the summertime (= teh YUCK). |

Speaking on behalf of the victims of aesthetic downfall, age, absinthe and residencies can accomplish the same level of degradation. Look at Matthias; he was a "sexy beast" until he started opening for hugely popular DJs, and now he's lost all his hair and is posting his cell number as though begging for a chloroform-soaked rag to find its way across his face. ;) |

| Im going to Mexico! Seriously though Ive always wanted to go to Mexico City cause Ive always wanted to visit Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo's house as well as the Aztec ruins this would be a good a time as any. Now with Sasha and Digweed there it gives me even more incentive to go. |

I think that the posted price of $300 actually means 300 mexican pesos, which is slightly less than 30 US Dollars. Could be wrong though, and if it is actually $300 US then there's no way in hell I'd pay that.
Regardless, I'm in about the same boat as you. I'd love to go, but I'd have to burn most of my vacation time to make it possible. Sasha & Digweed playing together is a night unlike any other. I live in Houston but would drop everything and drive to Austin or Dallas to see these guys. |
