I've been listening to Peter Rauhofer's awesome new Essential Mix 2-disc set for the past couple weeks.
At this very moment I have
D*Note - Shed My Skin (Original Mix)
Groove Armada - Superstylin' (Mansfield Mix)
Chemical People - Star Guitar (Pete Heller Mix)
on rotation in the mp3 player. I have to clean my underwear after every song!
...And nice choice there djpsi, Royksoop - Poor Leno (Sander Kleinenberg remix) is phat. Royksopp's Istanbul Forever Take is pretty lush too! Their Melody AM album hasn't left my CD player in over a month. |

Fingerfest Inc - Autoporno is on Choo Choo Records

It came out in early December. That's the same label as the Pappa & Gilbey stuff is released on. In fact, Barry Gilbey is half of Fingerfest Inc (Dean Marriot being the other half).

Yeah, I have a sweet-spot for Boo Radleys style vocals, so that Star Guitar track hits me where it hurts, and Pete Heller does a beautiful job remixing it. :D |
