Gil La: Club Heaven/Crystalclouds.com/ETN.FM- Evolving Soundscapes
Music has always been a way of life for Gil La since his childhood. He grew up in a family of musicians learning how to appreciate all genres of music from all over the world. He started collecting records and playing them on his turntables since the age of 14. His early influences of music include Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Nitzer Ebb, OMD, Chemical Brothers & various dance music artists in the mid 80’s.
He was first introduced to trance in the late 90’s and it developed into a passion which lead him to purchase 2 new Techinics turntables. After teaching himself the fundamentals of Djing, he started playing in local bars and restaurants 6 months later on the Sunset Strip.
Now known for his hard driving beats and melodies, Gil La plays an active part in the local EDM scene with regular gigs at Spundae and Club Heaven where he holds a residency. He has been lucky enough to share the stage with Solarstone, Johan Gielen, Jon O’Bir, George Acosta, Pulser, Robert Nickson, Dj Precision, Jan Johnston, Phynn, and Dj Sammy.
