| thats one of the things i hate about americans. theyre so polarised into thinking in terms of democrats and republicans, liberals and conservatives. they miss all the other colours in the spectrum. |

because saying "liberal" CANNOT refer to a comment a person just said. :sigh:.
FDR for sure and Clinton wasn't too bad either. But most people just vote for the most famous ones. Not too many people all the accomplishments and political and business dealings of 19th century presidents |

no, because there is nothing in my comment that was even remotely related to such simplistic definitions
i would say averting a nuclear holocaust and playing a massive role in the largest, most necessary and just war the world has ever seen kinda transcends the petty political differences one might find between liberals and conservatives. 2 terms i might add that so many ppl on here (mostly yanks btw) seem to misunderstand or misrepresent becoz they tie their understandings to party politics rather than looking at the historical traditions of either. |

it's funny because the creator of the thread, replied to YOU saying it was liberal so therefore it was, maybe only to him. but how are you going to argue with the fact that he thought you might've said something liberal. and he didn't, he might just be calling you a liberal. so just deal with it. being liberal is a set of beliefs not just one defining charecteristic. ;) |

because with the information provided you cannot possibly derive that conclusion with any degree of of certainty. its an assumption based on nothing. unless of course avoiding nuclear war or defeating the Axis are particular liberal traits? |
