Anyone been to Element NYC yet?

was just reading an article in DJ Mag about the grand opening of Element in NYC, and it seems like a pretty sweet venue...capacity like around 500, multiple rooms, not too cramped but not as big as Pacha or Crobar...
apparently they want to focus on bringin in up and coming/lesser known djs and keepin' the "underground dance" scene alive, whatever that means..
due to perform in March is DJ Ewan Pearson, who did the remix for Goldfrapp's "Ride The White Horse", which is the song im hooked on for the moment...first track off Digweed's Transition Session from 2/12/2006. :eyes: :eyes:

It just openend on Thursday.
They will be doing parties that most people on here won't be interested in attending, unfortunately, as I'm HIGHLY doubtful there will be any trance at all. I'm expecting more techno, minimal, electro sorts of things. Definitely more underground than the megaclubs.
