I heard on the radio today that 1 in 80 UAE citizens (which is a very exclusive group btw) is a millionare.
Not a bad ratio. Wonder what their low-income housing must look like.
Also, I think its very progressive of them that they would kill me on the spot if I tried to enter their country:p
I have many Arab/muslims friends that have been/visited/lived in Dubai and they go on and on and on about how great it is. Would probably be one of the only places I'd be interested in seeing if it weren't for that killing me bit;) |

Thanks for posting. Definitely a good read/crash course on what's going on in Dubai and what exactly Dubai might stand for. There's definitely a lot of money flowing through that place. I only hope that ethics is also high on the list. Plenty of cool to see, that's for sure.

i got a friend who is a model who lives in the UAE.
her big house is near the beach site, her father owns a big company.
her district or sector is called Jumeira.
if you look at google earth it is near the coast.
by the way, it has a mix of Iranians and Arabs in that small little country.
most Iranians go to UAE to find jobs. I wonder how many are spies for the mullahs? |

| I visited Dubai about 3 years ago with little knowledge of the place. My friend who's from UAE invited me to come with him, i looked into it and couldn't believe what kind of place it was. Definatly one of my fav places i ever visited. |
