sorry they are in wma. i have limited bandwidth and slow connection speed so i try and keep my samples as small as possible. and i cant make them small in mp3 mode...
let me know what you think:) |

hey man
nice rmx here, i liked what u did with the stab and the rhymthm the best. techincal elemnts are very good as well.
the track didnt get me really movin tho...maybe not my type. i was expecting some more, i know this was a hard track to remix, but still i think this is a very good job! good luck! |

ah comeon man.. 91kb/s :p? and Ive got a friggin ADSL2 connection.. I just topped the 24mb/s(!!) yesterday :p
anyway *whinewhineyawnwhinewhinebeer*
omfg:D perfect mastering! very cool percs in the start.. would give the kick a bit more spunk.. nah nvm.. cool bassline!
hehe nice use of the chord2 sample;) bring the bassline up more:D!!
nice and driving.. missing some sort of tikkatackhihatline..
something like: |llll|llll|llll|llll|llll|llll|:| w/l=hihat²
because youve got |³=(l²)² that brings the bassline more like some drive³ when you eliminate all the x² you know..
get it? :p whahah srry man :D but I totally love this track :D.. if your gonna send this in ill save myself a stamp lol..
great job!
(but where's the chord1.wav??:conf: ) |

hey rich..this is a lot more of a calmer version than the other remixes ive heard :)
You love that reverbed single kick you start the track on dont you? ;) Love the pads you use in it - more MIKE sounds! I think the percussion loop that runs through the track is a bit over-bearing at times..
Like the blippy synths in the background and the way the pads build up-nice subtle melody in the synths near the middle :) not sure about the stopping & starting kick bit tho..i think you need to build the pads & synths up more to insert more energy into the remix...overall,i like it a lot :)

I don't thing fade out at 16 bar is good idea ;) original...but not for this track...or maybe try to put FX in that place..coz that place is like hole..I like minimalistic touch to this.sound very rmx'ish ;)...I agree with that question about the boooom kick...
nice harmonies,melos...;) but this rmx need something, coz now it sounds like party end piece, when all people must go out.
greati work,but I said what I think ;)
cool job!

| lovin the kick, dislikin' the fade out of the hihats then refade in...Bassline is different for this kind of layering but grrreat different. Good use of vocal :) and the overal dark theme is premium- minimal, but still very mooving... |

thanks iloop:)
happy you liked it! the fade out is a bit odd and i wasnt sure whether to keep it in.. but thought it sounded nice loud..
*EDIT*
i sent this to a few dj's i thought would like it.
i have been told that albert vorne, manu kenton(lagoa, belgium), dj youri(cherrymoon!) and dj Klems (mazeman, wlc) are all supporting this in their dj sets!
yippy!!:) |
