its both a MIDI controller and an analog mixer and has been in development for over a year and was recently launched at NAMM 2006 in Cali

it's pretty sweet, but unfortuantely, the damn thing is gonna cost $2600 USD! :eyes: And at the NAMM Show, the prototypes still werent fully functional :( I wanted to see it in action!
For around 1/3 the price ($750 USD), you can get the ECLER NUO4. The MIDI controls arent as extensive as the XONE:3D (89 MIDI functions VS. 110 in the XONE:3D), but it does the job quite well ;)

well if ur only going digital, imo, the best price:function buy would be the M-Audio UC-33
but if u wanna mix it up, this is insane...
how long before the price drops i wonder..
best part is that this has a built in soundcard so u wouldnt need to get a seperate USB card for ur laptop |

yeah, its too bad about the jog dials on the NUO4....:( but for $1850 less than a 3D, you can get a few other external controllers or something ;) |

| actually a simple alternative is jsut us a 100% midi controller and channel the TTs/CDJs through the soundcard (use 2+ ins and drop them on the channels in ableton/traktor) |
