Goodbye laser tag!
No more bitching at me for punching in one minute late and never rewarding me for eating up all the crap and doing several hours worth of unessessary over time every week or coming in at the last minute when someone else didn't show up. :mad:
No more getting bitched at by clients because of horrible and faulty equipment because the company is too cheap to buy new ones or to pay it's employees more than 7.60 an hour.
No more getting bitched at because of long delays and waiting times caused by the fact that we're two employees working a job that should be handeled by four or five, just so that the company could save a couple of bucks and offer the cheapest quality service possible.
No more sneezing all day because the lazy bums that should be cleaning this place at night don't vaccuum the laser's maze, so it has years of accumulated dust buildup.
No more getting bitched at for not cleaning the floor at closing time when we have a single mop to share with 10 departements and only about ten minutes to pass it in all of them.
No more sore throats from repeating the same briefing speech twenty times in two languages.
No more having to deal with stupid kids who don't listen to the safety rules and get broken bones or other more severe injuries.
No more having to fill up accident reports for the above.
No more hearing twenty equipment sets shouting "return to energizer" at the same time. :nervous:
No more having to wear that ridiculous, cheap and devalorizing "crazy fun" teddy bear uniform. (this one I'm most happy about)
Dear laser tag, I am leaving you.
P.S. While you weren't looking, I sometimes helped myself to some green slush. |

Well there were some good things that kept me there despite the uniform. Firstly the fact that we all used to not wear it, until they cracked down a few weeks ago. Then there was this really cool manager, but they fired him because they didn't like his face.

Worst I've seen was a kid who completely snapped his wrist and one of the edges was sticking out and it was pissing blood everywhere.
Saddest one though was a parent who was hitting his own kid, and we had to call the cops, who then arrested him by force. |

| i completely know what you're going through aquarian. sometimes the same thing happens where I work. I work in a pharmacy and the company doesn't want to ing pay for more people. We have so many patients that it's too much to handle for just 4 people because insurance problems and all that stuff. It's incomprehensibly stressing to have to deal with that almost on a daily basis. I should quit.:D |
