Japanese documentary crew in 1970s Chicago gets attacked by Chi-town gang

Basically they're filming on location in Chicago sometime in the 70s, and they get accosted by some gang members in the area. Luckily for the documentary crew, one of them there is quite adept at Kyokushin (apparently) karate and kicks the hell out of half a dozen of these gangbangers before the cops come.
Awesome. Probably (and evidently) staged, but I'd like to think it isn't. Looks like a scene from The Warriors, almost. Heh. |

i mean, if you had a gang of people that wanted to kick one person's ass, would you attack this person one at a time? or would you swarm him?
