| Hey yall just downloaded this awesome song!! Would any of you consider this track trance at all. i know its happy hardcore (of which i love the genre moreso than trance) but does this track even deserve a mention in the same sentence as trance? i think it does! |

Not at all.
I'd consider myself a reasonably big hardcore fan as well, but it's very much happy hardcore (a genre of hardcore I'm none too keen about). The closest to trance I see in hardcore is throgh freeform hardcore, played by the likes of sharkey and kevin energy (worst DJ name ever, possibly the phattest hardcore sets ever). They play what I suppose you'd call trancecore, some very trancey moments in there. |

sharkey & energy rock, they play freeform tho, not trancecore. Many people confuse trancecore with hardcore but the stuff played by Billy Bunter, Ramos etc in 1997/8 is the 'real' trancecore, esp the releases on GBT Records :)
As for Fly away, it's a classic, 1997 vocal goodness. the new remixes do nothing for me however. |

| Yeah i would say that happy hardcore is the happiest and most uplifting music around and yeah id put it in the same category as trance simply due to the song structure. |
