We all know what happened on Saturday with Alan Smith. Now, to put his injury into perspective i'm gonna include a piccie of probably, the WORST football injury in the world, EVER. David Busst. (If you're squeamish look away now)

If you're still with me, well done. Let's have a butchers at Smithy's now.

No doubt which one looks worse, but they're just as bad medically. Busst broke his leg, Smith fractured his and disclocated his ankle. Incidentally, Busst never played again, Smith probably will but wont be the same.
An to the Liverpool fans who littered the ambulance with stones, bricks and bottles; you slags.
Also, I have no idea why im posting this. Spontaneity is a beautiful thing. |

the treatment of the ambulance wasn't fair but to tar all liverpool supporters, esp when they've been subject to some hideous chants from man utd fans that make me want to sing the munich song....
Worst Injury ever was Phil Babb for liverpool in 1995/6 ish when He slid into the goalposts with one leg either side of them :nervous: |

The attack on the ambulance was just drunken wankers who just ran out of the pub. I wouldn't call them supporters of Liverpool and I'm sure LFC won't either. They're just braindead arseholes.
Both of those injuries are horrifying though there has been other ones probably just as bad - Cisse, Luc Nilis, Henrik Larsson, Di Matteo and recently I seen a picture of Totti's broken ankle which wasn't pleasant.
As a Liverpool supporter my heart goes out to Alan Smith and I hope he can make a full recovery and return to playing football asap. Seeing something like his injury brings football into perspective a bit. |
