First of all, this absolute smackdown by Keith is just ing hilarious:

Mr. Peabody, the little bully got exactly what was coming to him. Keith called him out and nailed him point to point on his little bull antics. So what does Billy do? He starts a ing petition to get Keith kicked off of NBC. No, really, a ing petition to another news station. But what's even more funny, the little ing coward masks his temper tantrum by not directly mentioning Keith, but asking for Phil Donahue to come back in Keith's slot. It's just a beautifully written letter:

quote:
February 22, 2006
Chairman Robert Wright
National Broadcasting Company
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, New York 10112

Dear Chairman Wright:

We, the undersigned, are becoming increasingly concerned about the well-being of MSNBC and, in particular, note the continuing ratings failure of the program currently airing weeknights on that network at 8:00 PM EST.

It is now apparent to everyone that a grave injustice has been done to the previous host for that time slot, Phil Donahue, whose ratings, at the time of his show's cancellation three years ago, were demonstrably stronger than those of the current host.

Therefore, in an effort to rescue MSNBC from the ratings basement and to restore the honor and dignity of Mr. Donahue, who was ignobly removed as host three years ago, we ask that you immediately bring Phil Donahue's show back at 8:00 PM EST before any more damage is done.

It's beyond the word "pathetic". I can just see Billy stomping up and down in the schoolyard, or trying to manipulate the teacher to get back at someone who beat the out of him fair and square.

What a slimy worm.

Olberman should've stuck with SportsCenter.

Ya know, I actually agree with you - I thought he was great there. Not that I mind him where he's at now, and I personally believe he's doing pretty damn good there. But I do miss his wit on sports clips.

What a celebration it was to see them break .500 two years ago.

I think they need to bring back George Brett.

Christ, I'd take anyone from the 80's Royals to help them out. I haven't been too great of a fan ever since the early 90's lockout. That was their last best chance at a playoff.

And speaking of playoffs, when the hell are the Braves gonna win one?

I can guarantee they'll be on top of their division pretty consistently, but they always choke in September. Now that they've lost Mazzone...my enthusiasm is waning. I remember going to games when I was a kid and they couldn't pay people to go. I went to a game once and sat dugout level for $1.
