JP8080 clicking?

Bit of an odd problem, a few months ago I got a JP8080 and have only noticed this with notes playing in rapid succession. Basically when the cutoff in the filter section is turned down low and the amp attack is set to 0 so notes sound as quickly as possible, you can hear a click as each note hits. I'm thinking it's to do with the synth itself, and was wondering if anyone could suggest a solution other than turning the attack up a few ms because in arpeggiated melodies that is really noticable. Cheers guys.

That's common with most synths. (The malstrom synth in Reason does that on some of the waveforms)
The only solution is like you said to increase the attack usually.
If there's a phase knob for the unison stack, try adjusting that.

Hmmm is it possible to remove the clicking with another program post recording?
Eldritch
That would be hard, and would probably just give the same result as increasing the attack. Someone else that has a JP should be able to help more I think.

My JP8000 does the same thing. You could set the attack and release marginally above 0. Or maybe try a vinyl restoration tool to remove the pops - but be prepared to lose some quality.

It's supposed to do that; emulates the organ more acurately, I believe.

You can get rid of it by changing the attack.

Yes, if you have the audio already recorded in wave format then you can use audio editing software to zoom in on the clicks and smooth them out or eben delete them completely.

try to use some declicker unit. Even Waves module is good for that. Yes the best solution is to increase the attack value.
