Am I getting ripped off?

I just put in my first order for vinyl online. I ordered records from planetxusa.com and they said that my order would be confirmed via email. Now, this was just under a week ago, and I'm thinking that I should have heard back from them by now. :whip:
I ordered 5 records and I gave them my credit card number. Does anyone know if my order actually went through or not? Has anyone ordered from this site before? Did I just give my money to them for nothing in return? |

| i wouldnt worry .... usually they do send you notification ... about the vinyl list .. if its a fill or not ...usually u also have to order up to 40$ of vinyl before u get it.... and no i doubt they would ripp u off its a legit vinyl online store if they charged u for vinyl that u didnt get they could be sued!..so i highly doubt ur getting ripped off ... i recommend if you order from Planetxusa ..order sunday nights , monday mournings thats usually when u get the first picks with vinyl and they will respond the fastest! |

Yeah, I ordered $50 worth of vinyl, so I can't see that being a reason why they wouldn't send me anything.
I found it kinda wierd that I could order these very hard to find vinyls as well. Do you know any other online shops where you can order...

i haven't ordered from them before, but i didnt get an email notification from dancegrooves until the day the package showed up at my door :D
heh. so they could be busy, or like someone else said, filling your order. email server could have phucked up too. lotsa possibilites. but its a reputable site. i wouldn't worry.

you gotta be careful with planetxusa sometimes...
i ordered from them once and three of the vinyls i wanted the most(mainly the reason for ordering from them instead of somewhere else) were "out of stock". i don't know if they've changed but back in october when i ordered they continued to list out of stock items and allowed you to order them and you don't find out if it's in stock until you get your order. sucks. |

hmm. i'll stay clear of these gents. also guys, stay away from an online record shop called frontline. b-a-s-t-a-r-d-s.
they still owe me a refund of 110 bucks.. from 8 months ago. |
