I'm sorry you had to learn this way... |
on the contrary, i found the 18 months i learnt on the 700 taught me heaps. any mixer is so much easier to use in comparison ;)

yeah, dont listen to all the supposed experts on here always ready to bash brands theyve prob never touched. i have a numark 5000 & for $900AU its a great piece of equipment. its all $$ versus performance. in my limited experience numark have found a nice balance. |

Ok I have a problem...
I have a behringer djx700... and well
my out put for my headphones only puts out for the left ear... its broken!
I like the mixer but anyone hear of this? |

| you sure its not the headphones? |

wooo
i own one
*looks at*
i really should turn it into a cup holder by cutting holes in it with my Dremel tool.
BUT I NEED A NEW MIXER FIRST :whip:
THE CHANNEL FADERS ON IT ARE NOT LOGRITHMIC! THEY ARE LINEAR!
They sound horrible if you are trying to do a smooth fade. Be careful. |

you can take off the faceplate, just take off ALL the knobs and faders first :)
And yes, my djx 700 faders were logrithmically sloped...I "upgraded" to a numark matrix 2 and I am WAY happier than with the djx 700 POS. |

Then why don't mine sound logrithmically sloped? Or am I just the biggest idiot on the planet. |

WHAT IS LOGARITHMIC AND LINEAR FADER???
WHICH ARE MORE SMOOTH???
I have a Numark DM1050 and as far as i understand, the faders are logarithmic, cause the sound level goes up too rapidly on the 7-10 mark..
info anyone?
what about Denon DN-X100? its got VCA faders with faders and x-fader curve customization..
*noobish tears* :) |
