Trance Addict Party??

ok so after some major ass traffic in downtown austin last night(6th street was closed due to mardi gras) I'd decided I park and walk. My cousin and I walked passed Sky when I see that the sign outside says "Trance Addict Party...03.03.2006", along with other gig info (ferry, hernan, etc..), which by the way i missed out on whoever it was that was spinning at Sky last night (too drunk to remember the name but it was one of those well-known dj's.....damn it!!)
Now I dont know if you guys posted that up here already, but if not then i wanna know what the hell all this is about. I seen that Matthias and Carnahan (i think i saw sean's name) are opening. If this is really going down, my ass is there in a heartbeat on the 3rd!!;) ;) |

thats odd, cause Matt is supposed to be playing the ambient/chill area at the deja vu party on the 3rd here in houston |

I'll clear some of this up. I brought it to the promoter of Deja Vu's attention that I would not be able to play because of being booked in Austin, I'm not sure if he still has me listed as playing but for the record I will be playing at Sky Lounge in Austin that night. I do not have any information on who else is playing at Sky and hope Jojo follows up with more info. |

yeah I had a meeting with him tonight and saw that you weren't on the bill anymore. guess I was the last to find out. |

The event is going down but up until today I was unaware of all the details and I figured Jojo would have posted something about it. Here's the deal:
opening - 10:00: Dave Molina
10:00 - midnight: Bruce Gibbons
midnight to closing (2/2:30ish): Me
It was also brought to my attention that I am playing in San Antonio at Antro the next night on the 4th. Something to do with Ryan turning 25 (happy bday btw). I apologize for the short notice on both events...but I am only the dj, not the promoter. :) |

I think this would have to be the first time in my DJ life that I would say "Hell No" to a time slot if that holds true. I love sharing music, but I'm sure the 2 janitors sweeping up (the only people that would be there at that time) wouldn't make the trip worth my while.
I did speak with JoJo last night and was advised of a later time slot, but I need to confirm that before I make the trip to Capitol City tonight.
I definitely don't mean to step on anyone's toes, but that schedule needs to be looked at again. |

Okay...gave Jojo another call, here's the timeslots:
Bruce Gibbons: 11-12
me: 12-1
Dave Molina: 1-2
and at Antro tomorrow night I play from 2-3am |
