I read some where that Tiesto is taking away the real meaning of going to a rave and what it's like seeing your friends and enjoying the music for what it is and not just going to a rave because of one guy. Agree or Disagree?

i know what ur saying whenever u see these big name djs like tiesto u can guarantee that the front 10 rows of people on the dance floor will just be tiesto geeks with the tiesto t-shirts on waveing there arms in the air. They will only be there to get a glimpse of tiesto couldnt care less about the music he plays they might not even like it. tiesto could play a crappy pop song while doing mixing but u can still guarantee that those people will be chanting his name.
Pretty sad really

i disagree.
one man will not dictate whether or not i see my friends and enjoy music.
unless that man can provide me with unlimited beer.
... and my friends.
RapidFire
tiesto's a chump.

ya i disagree myself..because if you thought that way about tiesto then they wouldn't have to go support him. But i understand what you mean when you say he could play a really gay song and people would love it. I bet he could and ya haha..But also i seem to get a different point of view when 2 dj's spin the same song. i don't know but thats me.

Haha I agree with that shirt. I used to be one of those DJ Worhisppers until really recently (in the past few months) that I snapped out of it and now i've been more into producers and the actual tunes then the DJs who play them. I think I could care less who plays what, as long as what they are playing is GOOD.

why do you bash only tiesto?
there are lots of djs with a good marketing out there too, heh...

Front row Tiesto geek! I ditched my best friend just so I could get in 2 hours early to get up there. I mean, that's incredible to jump up 7 feet in the air and touch those marvelous fingertips, to watch him do that chicken dance of his, to hold up a vinyl of 643 and have him look at you and it and give the 'hmm...' face and play it 10 minutes later. He even laughed when I said "you are nuts". Of course I appreciate his music; I belong up front! Not these jerkoffs that dunno what EDM even is, nor who he is, but are too doped out of their minds to give a .

Tell you what though, nothing compares to hugging Ferry :tongue2
