| If I was ever to have a child (which I don't plan on doing), I've always thought that Ehren (prounced the same as Erin or Aaron) was a cool name for a boy or a girl. |

I agree with you on this, but if the decision is thought through properly then i dont see a major deal. If i was named Francis at birth or another name i dont like at all, then id change it to something like Darren. Not something stupid, but something that would work. So aslong as the reasons are right then i dont see a major beef. |

I don't know one of my best friends changed his name and I always thought it was kinda lame, I mean whatever do it, but seriously think long and hard about it before hand. |
Well, that's the point, with my current name I simply CAN'T accept me for who I am, the name just doesn't feel like me (yes, certain names has a certain "feeling" to it).
With this name change I am positive that I will accept myself, since it is my choice and not someone elses choice as it is now.
I understand your point that one could get tired of EDM and then regret it, but believe me, I have thought this through for a very long time, and getting a name that makes me think of EDM would def be the right choice for me.
I don't expect you to understand, but please, calling me stupid is just ignorant. |
