^on sale...-$450 from original! :eyes:

Cables from mixer recording outputs or mixer master outputs, get RCA to 1/8, both male. Should go into Line IN on the the computer.

I got those RCA to 1/8 Cable, and connected to my computer, and it is not working.

on my mixer (numark matrix 2) I have Master output, Booth output and record output. I connect record output to my laptops line in and I have a knob on my mixer that controls the output volume. Not sure if you have one but if you do make sure its halfway up or something.

Go to your computers volume control panel and make sure the Line in is unmuted and the volume of it is half way up.

Probably your line in is muted or not selected or something
i got big pants
^what he said...

for some reason volume issues seem to happen to everyone...they don't realize the volume isn't up all the way...hate when that happens...i just feel like an idiot after i realize it was unmuting something or cranking up the volume. :whip:

check all of windows volume settings. the input might be muted. also, make sure you use the line in, and not the mic in. theyre not the same thing ;)

Thanks for all the Replys Guys.

I Have a Vestax PCV-275 Mixer and a pair of CDJ-200

I'll check all the volumes.

Also I will make sure it'0s connected to the line in.

Thing is, on my soundcard, I thought the Line in is the same as the Mic In.

I think I had it connected on the Mic in, and that's why it doesnt work.

I have a PC, with WIndows XP.

I'll connect everything, and tell how it goes.

Thanks Again to everyone =)

I tried Eevrythign., and styill it doesn't work

on my sound card, the Line-In and Mic-In are next to the same output.

My soundcard has 5 Outputs or inputs (Whatever you want to call it, are the holes that are mean to be connected with cables), it's a multiChannel soundcard.

Then I read on the Mixer (It's like the volume control for Windows), and I clicked on the "About" button that widnows screens have.

and it says

Chip Version: CMI8738 6 CH without SPDIF

Configuration:

Line-in and rear speaker output share the same jack.

Microphone and Subwoofer share the same jack.

-------------------------------------------------------

After I read this, I tried and connect My Mixer into the Rear Out of my soundcard, but still I dont hear any sound.

Do I need a software like Audacity Open while I'm listening to the music from my equipment?, or just when I turn on the ocmputer it should be sounding?

DO I need 2 soudncards to record my mixes?

I'm confused, beacuse I can not even listen the sound coming from my Mixer.

Thanks.
