I must confess i tried to download this alubm with no intention of paying however after downloading a few tracks and listening to what i had so far i logged onto audiojelly and paid for a copy. I felt the need to pay my respects to this, we need more of these kind of producers. Most of the time i just download stuff and never pay, becuase if find these days its all about the trend and not about the spirit.
Its good to know that they are people out there willing to put the love and effort into this wonderfull music to keep its true spirit alive.
Rick you have my upmost respect.

Oh and Concerto has got me by the balls!

I bought today the album... I must say that in my humble opinion, this piece is really amazing... I am in lack of words to describe the feelings when I listened to it for the first time.

Just incredible... too good.

If there are previous releases that you guys could recommend from this artist, please let me know, this is seriously gonna destroy some hips and bones at the dance floor.

Totally recommend to buy it... you won't regret it.

i aim also to purchase this within the next few days.

Ricky, would it be possible to share with us a high resolution copy of the (only) artwork thats been done for this? The picture of the mixer/synth (whatever it is)? as there is no cd release i'd like to burn this onto cd and print off the cover to atleast sort of make my own release.

i bought this from audiojelly and its a 320bit rate. anyone know how i can reduce it down to 192bit rate??? do you guys think it would sound better??? the music is good so far, but the base lines dont seem to hit hard enough for me. im guessing the bitrate is too high.
spc
reducing the bitrate would only reduce the sound quality of the music... i don't think that would improve the bass... your best bet is mess with EQ settings or get a better soundsystem/headphones
zDmn
oh well...guess its just the music then. music is pretty decent and creative but i dont think the bass line hits hard enough. i think this album was a little overhyped but it looks like im the only one with this opinion:p maby its just one of those albums that will grow on my sometime down the road

My thoughts about this album:

It doesn't sound like an album to me. It sounds like ten rather similar tracks put together on a cd. EP releases would be better. You can clearly tell that DB isn't very versatile as a producer..before i listened to this CD it felt like i heard it all before, and i wouldn't really consider myself as an experienced trance listener.

The tracks sounds pretty mediocre to me, difference being that the sound is beefier but it still sounds like formulatic stuff to my ears. Im sure they go down well on the dancefloors (which perhaps is the most important thing) but for a non-clubber like me this release is rather useless.

Summary: for me, this years most overhyped record. Doesn't come as a suprise really since Digital Blonde got so much unreleased stuff which until now could only be heard in livesets, and when the full tracks are finally avaliable people go crazy. It's always the same thing. Just look at Boards of Canada.
