| Like... J00F, Protoculture and the likes. What would make a great tracklist? |

Teh CLASSICS!
Astral Projection - Power Gen. Doesn't get any more driving.
Hallucinogen - Trancespotter!
Etc. Oldschool driving psy/goa. None of that new McPsy. |

OK, I got really interested in psy trance like a month ago (I've had a little bit of it all the time, but the big wave came recently) so I dunno how old Protoculture is and all that.
I like their works though! More Directions is hot, at least the melody. I think it's almost as good as Reinassance Superman by 1200 Mics, and I definitely love that one.
I'll check your stuff out though, you really seem to be a dood at this.
Oh and Non-Transparent Shadows! What do you think of it? |

I don't listen a lot to this 1200 Mics-esque stuff, but stuff from their first album would still be quite nice. Hashish, Mescalin, DMT, maybe.
I bet stuff like Poison and Tweaky from Astrix would fit your taste too. |

Electric Universe. Check out their last two album. Really good driving and quite melodic psy trance.
Electric Universe - Ecellerator :wtf:
also check out Cosma's wonderful driving album Nonstop.
Astrix first album Eye to Eye is well worth checking out as well. The second album is poor though. Keep away from it. |

I alreayd heard Poison and it's okay.
Electric Universe, I'll definitely check 'em out. I know you're into the psy! |

| Anything from Wizzy Noise, Xerox & Illumination & Popstream are good. Also check out random works from Alternative Control |

Wizzy Noise! What the hell, I would never have guessed they were psy when a friend of mine were listening to them yesterday (I saw it on MSN).
Thx for suggestions, I'll check it out! |

You might like Silicon Sound, I'm pretty sure of that!
Check out album Pure Analog. No Silicon Sound track I know has disappointed me - and I know many ones :)
Man With No Name ... is good stuff too ...
Ranges from very psychedelic to almost cheesy (from a psytrancer's point of view) ... I'm sure you find something :)
The new S-Range stuff ("Another Theory" single released recently ... album coming soon!) is also very driving, sometimes sharp, sometimes freaky, even trancy at times ... it's a must to check out too, the CD single comes very cheap for the quantity of music it contains, check it out :) |

How you can apply a term like McPsy to a genre as big and as constantly evolving as psychedelic trance, I will never know.
OT:
I'm actually planning a driving morning set for a party this weekend. Heres the tracklist. Its very much based around that neo full on sound that protoculture is known for. I spent a fair bit of time trying to get a good flow and keep it airy, but anyways... it might give you an idea of similar sounding artists.
Kinetic – Hydraglyph
Supernature - Tristran & Prometheus
Firsy Hand – Krunch
High Octane – Protoculture
Flow me away – Lish
When Dreams Come True – Overlap
Skydance – Aquatica
Dirty Trick – MWNN
Dude, wheres my dignity – Hydraglyph
Do What You Want - Alternate Control
Flow - Jirah
Bow Wow – Cyclesphere
RPGNC- Pixel & Wrecked Machines
Neon Pop – Goma
Sirrius Conspiracy - Sirrius Isness
Day Dream – Delerious
LSDream – Audiotec
Above the ground - Noga vs Solar System
ZikZak – Ultravoice
Donky Drunky - System Nipel |

| If you're keen on full on, you'll probably like Sub6, Lish, Eskimo, Psysex and so on. Eventually you'll find out they all sound the same. |
