Honors Business Administration @ western = $16,000 per year.
Program was deregulated about 5 or 6 years ago because technically it starts in your third year, after 2 years of studies in another undergraduate area. You still end up with a BA in business though... |
Is this an Ivey HBA? |

| Don't get me wrong, it's a good program and 5-10 years ago was worth the premium in terms of job opportunities, but now I'd say you get the same recognition with a BComm from Queens or York. |

I agree, the recongnition across the country would be probably be equal, but the extra 8g is partially because of the name (who knows maybe you get a fancy calculator). |

Quckie fact..
Management and Computer Science degree fees are de-regulated. So universities can charge as much as they want.
UofT charges just over $600 for 1/2 credit for management, and about $550 for comp-sci I believe. Hence, at at 5 credits, you're looking at $6000 + misc fees of $500-$1000 (ie co-op registration fee, admin fee, etc)

EDIT: I believe the "reasoning" for this is that when you graduate, you make more cash. so you should pay more when you study. What a croc of bull. |

The only calculator you get is the one on the OSAP website telling you how long it will take to repay your student loan. |

Doesn't it technically work out to the same thing though? I believe Arts & Sci undergrad at Western is a bit cheaper than U of T (~$4500/year). So 2x4500 + 2x16000 = 33000 @ Western. 4x8000 = 32000 @ U of T. |

I have a question for you guys, is it fair for an Ontarian student to study abroad, let say in the UK, at Ontarian rates, if UK students can do the same when they come to Ontario?
A kind of exchange program, where students from different countries could study a couple of semesters somewhere else at the rate their paying in their home province? |
