I prefer hardware for the simple fact that as regards to melody I think I can create more creative tunes when having some notes in front of me, maybe because i studied piano for 7 years. Thanks for the list of soft synths I'll try them out, as regards to hardware synth my friend suggested a Nord Lead or an Access Virus |

For that hard saw you'd probably need to run something like V-Station with some distortion/compression FX. I have K-Station (hardware version of V-Station) - it roxorz my boxorz' (and monitors) - very very dirty filthy juicy sawwy basses. almost a gutteral sound.
Of course, when nothing else works I get my Ti to step in. Tho, with Ti, sometimes it's also a challenge (it tends to be too polite sometimes unless you really push it, force it, and rape it to scream in growl). :) |
