Can Anyone Tell Me What This Killer Sound Is Called?

Can anyone tell me how this typical german techno stab is generated and what with? It sounds complex.. i have managed to come up with something close of my own using a tr-909 hardcore drum hit with filters, cut and delay.
The sound you are looking for in this loop is the backround polyphonic techno stab.. not the main bassline/kickdrum or hat..

Any help on this would be much appreciated its a killer sound and i want to use it!!
By the way that loop was cut from Vengeance ClubSounds Vol.1

yea a snare sounds more like it. ill have to experiment with that now aswell. I managed it using my tr909 hardcore drum kick but it wasnt as polyphonic as in that loop which makes me think there is more possibility using a snare. I have never heard this sound as a preset in any vst ive come across. Its easy enough to make but to get it to sound as good in that loop sounds complex without a few plugins.
Even harder to do with a snare because it sounds flatter than the hardcore kick.
I honestly doubt anyone could produce that 'noise' tbh but if you can, post it here so we can hear it!! You know your sh*t if you can produce sounds like that! |

| All of the effects sound like like stuff you could make on a 303 or some emulator thereof with the right settings. |

| it's very easy to do.. just pitch a kick or a clap some cents up and use a lot of distortion. |

cheers for the feedback, I only got round to working with it again and like i thought at the start it turned out to be a kick that sounds most like it.. heres my quick version of a distorted 909 kick heavily distorted again and put through a high pass filter and delay with a few other tweaks here and there.. Ive also found out its more in the hardstyle genre of music or german hard trance that you find loops like these... A reverb is half what makes this sound so hard the rest is just fx.

Btw: If anyone wants to use it for a very hard dance track feel free. Its been mastered and the tempos 140bpm. Bear in mind I could do way better than this with different filters etc but this is just a quick version |
