Gallup Poll website help

there must be someone off here that used this.
why cant i see the results of the poll, all they have is '*'..does anyone know why this is or if you have to register to see the results?? or what im doing wrong?

Hmm, not sure. I believe there are parts of the Gallup website, namely the archives that require some silly membership of sorts. It looks like you were trying to access public opinion polls of 2003? If that's the case, I don't think you'll find it there.
And I don't think you'll be able to go back that far on my old trusty www.pollingreport.com website either, which if you haven't seen this yet, it's a nice summary of the most widely used polls. Sorry I'm not much help, but I guess I'd resort to Googling for that far back with some key words. |

| hey thanks anyway. i was basically looking for a source to cite to show a general support of Bush at the outset of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ive found a couple of statements in the Washington Post and NY Times to that effect but they provide no empirical support, so im relying on their assertions. dont know if i can be arsed rummaging through stats anyway to be perfectly honest!:p |
