Hello... i'm posting some psy i've been working on, mixing this one is tough. :whip:
oooh... in case none of you realised, a new planet has been discovered, heh... my inspiration ;)

hey mate, i listened your track, overall its nice but it needs some attention. i dislike the bleeping kick in the beginning instead try and put a harder kick in the song, the bleeping snarefill i like it, but its not in its place, this reply may sound very negative but you have put some nice work in the track! keep up the good work and im looking forward to the updated version!

Hey... I must say also that I donīt like the bleeping kick, itīs a good idea but as an element itīs too dominant in this mix, overpowering everything else. The kick doesnīt have nearly any bottom end neither so the mix sounds empty. I like all of the synth sounds, atmospheric stuff... This is true psy... The distorted sound beginning at 3:40 is really good!!

lakeus- maybe take a look at your eq..... (if you listen through winamp or media player). to me this track was asking for a bleeping high end kick.... heh... not so for you guys. as for the low end... i've eq'd the kick so much... that's as much low end as i can get for something like this ;). maybe proper filtering and i'll give the eq another try.... the basic idea for the kick is staying though... it has to be very "lasery"

Bidor- to me... everything fits... though a little quiet... all my percs were very... very... loud in the original render and distorted pretty harshely with my other instruments...

ooohhh yeah.... the subtrakt synth (the resonant noise, near the end) can be played through dolby 5.1.... apparently. anyway. i'm heading out.... bye ;) |

Really trippy intro sounds.
Liking the laser kick, actually. It's a sound not heard much in psy nowadays. Adding a lower layer would be a good idea, though.
That click snare at around 4:00 is insane.
5:17 this synth has a lot of harsh frequencies going. You should look into that. |

Spacey intro. Nice sounds.
That "laser kick" is interesting. You dont get this to hear often in Psy like Xeno said and it can make a track interesting. but maybe its a little too harsh. You should reduce the upper frequencies of it a little bit.
1:30 .. sweet acidline, that one is really juicy. i really like how you fuse Psy with Acid.
2:00 is a very cool passage. Very minimal and dark. You should definately listen to Etack - Lazer War, your track reminds me a lot of it. I wish there could be more Psy like that.
3:00 ... some very interesting sounds going on there.
3:30 ... that distorted melody is a good idea for a climax but it could use some more depth IMO.
The breakbeat part didnt do too much for me.
5:20 .. full power! That upper synth is too harsh, consider using a limiter on it. Maybe getting a little chaotic.
Some very good ideas in here. I like the overall feeling of the tune as well as the atmosphere. It's very trippy stuff and you can be proud of it. Maybe you should spend some more time on improving some of the synths as well as mastering without distortion. A compressor with a limiter afterwards could help you, just try it. :)

jex & cybernetika: oooh.... i thought we liked chaos ;). heh... guess not. the click snare is a fruit kick. in case your wondering. i thought the breakbeats mixed with the buzz snare would be kinda interesting.
as soon as i get the chance im gonna boost my squeekbox synth (the stereotype acid synth). the kick still seems okay....
