Yeah I've heard of The Compound and The Mark, but from what my brother told me (He was the soundguy at Eleven50 from Halloween '05 to just after Hybrid came '05.) Eleven50 really is the only club that books the big guys. I love the club, spun in the booth while noone was there except the employees. :D
I just... hate age limitations :( |

Yeah, 1150 generally gets the major ones. Though Fever was supposed to get the Christopher Lawrence and DJ Dan show, it wound up being merged with the Portia Surreal and Keri show at 1150 because Fever was unable to host it for some reason. But the Compound has held shows for Christopher Lawrence, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, and Icey spins there fairly regularly.
I'm not the hugest fan of the people that go to the 1150, but I would still love to go see a Nik Harding show there, or any of the clubs for that matter. :) |

Yeah! Seeing a half-naked Portia Surreal surrounded by drunk guys not even listening to the music, in Eleven50... makes me laugh :haha: Yeah I've noticed we don't get as much quality talent as some, but we do get Steve Porter, Infusion, Diggerz, Sasha... I'd definately go there on a good night if I was old enough :) |

Checking out the pics - Judge Jules & Niklas Harding drew about 500-1000 more people than Luke Fair. The world has gone bananas.
I also heard something from the night along the lines of - after Harding's set they cut the music and proceeded to interview Judge Jules for 20 minutes. Referring to him as John Jules. That topped with his usual helping of strong English Cheddar - the night ended at 2am an hour into his set. |
please remember all of you, it was a birthday party for radio Okey as well ... i agree, the prize-giving (wich was the main reason for the interruption), interview and everything else was far too long, but not 20 minutes ... everybody has to understand, that once is it a bithday celebration, such elements were to expect ... or was it in Incheba during Tiesto's gig different? ... that was also a birthday party and even with some politicians popping up ... is that ok?
the party ended at 4.30 am, as i was forced to stop the music, but there were people still dancing ... radio broadcasted 2 hours live, wich is great ... we have both headliners recorded as you see and will maybe broadcast the sets later ... please mind it was thursday and we had club full of about 1000 partypeople, wich is really fantastic ...
Chris, i know you hate any other DJ of the world outside Tiesto, Matthew Dekay and your friends ... but the world has n't gone bananas ... i'd say Niklas alone would draw more people than Luke ... |
